Wav2MP3 Wizard 3.2 (Build 354 - 26th October 2006)

• ADDITION: Added support for FLAC encoder
• ADDITION: Added MP3 re-encoding option (again)
• IMPROVEMENT: Parts of the interface have been redesigned, a new control has replaced all buttons, which are now clear as to their exact use
• ADDITION: Added Quick Encode, a feature which allows you to encode a whole folder automatically (subfolders are not supported yet unfortunately)
• ADDITION: Added options to automatically apply AutoTag on files added to the list or encoded using the Quick Encode feature

• IMPROVEMENT: The program gives you the option to kill the current instance and start a new one if when starting it another instance is detected.

IMPORTANT:

• OCX controls have been updated for this version; unless you're downloading the Installer package, you'll have to also download the updated Extra Runtime Components

RELEASE NOTES:

• From this version the size of the installer is noticably larger (a bit over 2MBs); Wav2MP3 Wizard is not heavier in resources in any way; this change is due to the addition of the required Visual Basic 6 DLLs in the installer, the lack of which did not allow the program to be installed on some computers

Wav2MP3 Wizard 3.1 Golden Edition Final (R281 - 28th August 2005)

ENCODER NOTES:

• Updated L.A.M.E. encoder to version 3.96.1

SETUP NOTES:

• Setup will not reset the language anymore if program is already installed; after install the program will start with the language it had before the update/re-installation - You can still reset the language through the shortcut or the REG file in the program's directory
• The installer version will always install the required runtime components, so no user has the need to download any updated runtime components manually
• The known issue of the Encode, Decode and other buttons having too much distance from the Encoding options in the main window is corrected in this release (already fixed with previous patch)
• The installer now sets up a value in AppPaths, so using "wav2mp3" under Start > Run, should launch Wav2MP3 Wizard.

OTHER NOTES:

• Greek as well as all languages will be enabled, with no option of disabling; if you find that the program is no longer working after changing the language or re-installing, please use the Reset Language shortcut or registry file

Wav2MP3 Wizard 3.1.210 (26 October 2004)

• REMOVAL: Removed the ID3Tag options from the Main dialog as they were pretty useless and confusing; default values for ID3Tags can still be set by the File Dialog (see Help File for more)
• IMPROVEMENT: Fully automatic batch (multiple files) encoding, not requiring you to click OK between files
• ADDITION: Added the File dialog; by double-clicking on any file on the list you can view all its ID3Tag properties as well as select its destination after encoding
• ADDITION: Ability to change all ID3Tag information in all files in the list with a few clicks, or clear them
• ADDITION: All ID3Tag information is copied from the Main form to the File form (appears when double-clicking on a file in the list)
• IMPROVEMENT: Separated Options dialog in tabs (suggested by Paul Jay Schrenker)
• CHANGE: There is no "Enable/Disable Multiple Files", as the list always appears now; the program can detect whether the list contains one or more files but acts the same

• BUG CORRECTIONS: Corrected bugs on file selection, Main dialog being disabled to user, ID3Tags being disabled after adding more than one file to list and many other minor bugs
• IMPROVEMENT: Cleaned up the code, removed all unused entries for smaller size and faster use

Wav2MP3 Wizard 3.0.152 (29 June 2004)

• ADDITION: Support for multiple file encoding and decoding
• ADDITION: File list supports drag'n'drop so you can just drag your files from the explorer and add them to the list
• ADDITION: Many additions and corrections due to to the above implementation
• ADDITION: Added a fading effect on the background color of the main form while the Batch List form is viewed
• BUG: Problems with the Options Dialog not loading after changing the Preview selection (External/Internal) 
• NOTE: Even after a multiple file convertion, the Preview feature will only preview the last file encoded, in that case the last file in the list.

Wav2MP3 Wizard 2.2.124 (13 June 2004)

• BUG: Corrected bug that made the program display the Greek language even if Spanish was selected on the Options dialog, if the program's registry option "EnableGreek" was set to 0 (by default if installed in English or Spanish)
